Jennifer McMurray has been the director of Little Lambs Preschool since its creation in 2010. She earned a Master’s degree in Child Development and Child Care from the School of Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Messiah College. Jennifer has worked with children in a professional capacity for over 25 years. Prior to being the director at LLP, Jennifer taught grades Pre-K to 2nd grade in the public school system for several years. She has also worked as a child therapist, TSS, foster care case manager, nanny and child-care teacher over the span of her career. Jennifer began volunteering as a nursery and preschool worker in her church when she was a teenager herself. She feels incredibly blessed to be a part of Little Lambs Preschool and enjoys the relationships with the students and families as well as watching the children learn and grow each year. Jennifer loves combining all of her background and passions together while working for the Little Lambs Preschool ministry at Devonshire Church. She enjoys photography, scrapbooking, being in nature and spending time with loved ones at the beach. She resides in the Harrisburg area with her husband and 2 teenage children.
Pam Weber is a 4/5 year old teacher for Little Lambs. She joined the staff in 2019. Pam earned her Bachelor’s Degree with a specialization in Speech-Language Pathology and Special Education in 2004. Prior to starting her family, Pam worked in a speech clinic, assisted in a special education program, and taught 1st grade at a charter school in North Carolina. Pam lives in Middle Paxton Township with her husband and three children. She enjoys photography, crafting, and watching football with her family! Mrs. Weber teaches our Monday through Friday 4-5’s class.
Pam Amsdill joined the Little Lambs staff in 2020 and is a floater. She has her Associate’s Degree and has been working with children in the preschool setting for sixteen years now. Pam lives in Palmyra, near Mt. Gretna and commutes three days a week. She and her husband Steve have been married thirty-five years and have two children. She is a Michigan native, but has lived in Pennsylvania for twenty-seven years. She enjoys crafts, reading books and spending time with her family. Mrs. Amsdill is a classroom floater.
Megan Noel will be an aide in our 3.5-4 year old class and will help in the office. Her sons attended Little Lambs from 2019-2022 at which point Megan decided to join our staff. She comes to us with a degree in Early Childhood Education from Messiah College and over 20 years experience in the field of education. Megan lives with her husband Bryan and their three sons in the Colonial Park area. Together they enjoy spending as much time as they can outside doing things like camping or going to Hersheypark. Mrs. Noel is a classroom aide and an office assistant.
Kristen Thrush has been a part of Little Lambs in several different ways throughout the years. She had her own kids go through the program, and she has been an aide in the classroom and an assistant in the office. Currently, she is the Finance and Enrollment Manager, starting that position in the fall of 2021. She also works for Youth For Christ, USA. Kristen graduated from Messiah University with a degree in Family Studies. She has been married for 25 years and has 7 children. She enjoys reading, being outside in nature, 76ers basketball, and watching her kids play soccer and basketball. Mrs. Thrush is our Finance and Enrollment Manager.
Alison (Ali) Yarrish is a 2’s Teacher and our Kindergarten Extension Teacher here at LLP. She is so excited to be a part of this amazing preschool! Ali graduated with an Elementary Education and Early Childhood degree from Millersville in 1998 and taught kindergarten in the Lampeter-Strasburg School District. After moving to Harrisburg and being a Stay-at-home-Mom for a few years, she taught 2’s and Transitional Kindergarten at another local preschool. Ali lives in Lower Paxton with her husband Chris, son Alex, and cat Butterscotch. She enjoys watching Alex play baseball, swimming, reading, and making paper crafts. Mrs. Yarrish teaches a 2’s class and our Kindergarten Extension Program.
Betsy Felix is a Pre-K teacher for Little Lambs. She joined Little Lambs Preschool in 2017. Betsy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education, from Millersville University, in 2000. She taught in Chambersburg and Susquehanna Township. Betsy resides with her husband and four children, in Hershey, Pa. She has a Bernese Mountain Dog, Sophie, and a Goldendoodle, Tucker. They are her fur babies! She also enjoys the great outdoors, reading, art projects, and sporting events. Mrs. Felix teaches a Monday, Wednesday, Friday 4-5’s class.
Mrs. Karen Worthington has worked at Little Lambs preschool for 4 years. She will be teaching a 4/5’s class this year, as well as aiding. Karen attended Lebanon Valley College and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She previously taught kindergarten for the Middletown School District. Karen is married to Mike and they have two children, Natalie and Lucas. Together they enjoy cheering on the Phillies and Penn State. They also enjoy traveling, especially to the beach. Mrs. Worthington teaches a Monday, Wednesday, Friday 4-5’s class and is a classroom aide.
Terry Frekot is a 3 year old teacher and has been at Little Lambs since 2017. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Philadelphia University. This lead her to a professional career as a Procurement Agent for the Navy for over three years. Her long-time dream was to become a teacher, so she left the Navy and went back to school to focus on earning her teaching credentials in Elementary Education from Moravian University. She has been working and involved with children for almost over 25 years in different capacities from a Kindergarten teacher to a second grade teacher. Her position before coming to Little Lambs was working with children in a preschool setting from 2 years of age to 5 years old for 11 years. She has also worked at Gold’s Gym of Hershey in their Kids’ Gym as a childcare provider for 17 years. Terry lives in Middletown with her husband, Jeff and their dog, Maya. They have a son, Jarod who is getting married in October, 2022.In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family. Terry loves being a part of the Little Lambs family! Mrs. Frekot teaches a Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3’s class and a Tuesday Thursday 3’s class.
Mrs. Jaimee Zohn started working for LLP in 2013 as a classroom teacher. She currently is the Educational Coordinator and also teaches the 3.5-4 year old classroom. Mrs. Zohn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education. She worked as a Home Visitor for the Perry County Family Center where she met with families who were pregnant or had children under 5 years old to help them with parent education and child development skills. She then started working for the Capital Area Intermediate Unit (CAIU) as a Preschool Special Education Teacher where she taught children ages 3-5 who had Autism. Mrs. Zohn earned her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education while working at the CAIU. She currently lives in the Harrisburg area with her husband, 2 sons and 2 cats. Mrs. Zohn teaches a Tuesday Thursday 3.5-4’s class and is our Educational Coordinator.
Noelle Tully was blessed to join the Little Lambs family in 2018. She has worn many hats during her time at LLP, jumping in where needed to be a classroom teacher, teacher’s aide, floater, and office assistant. She loves getting to know all the students and families in all those roles. Noelle graduated from Bloomsburg University with her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 2005. Prior to starting a family, she worked as a preschool teacher. Noelle lives in Lower Paxton Township with her husband and three sons. During her free time, she enjoys spending time at Disney World and Hersheypark with her family, reading, and making crafts. You can often find her on the sidelines cheering on her sons’ as they play sports. Mrs. Tully teaches a Tuesday Thursday 2’s class and a Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3-4 class.
Ms. Christine Dunham has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Stevenson University. She was a Pre K teacher for three years until she decided to stay at home with her own children. After her kids were grown, she decided to go back into the education field because she enjoys working with children and watching them grow. Ms. Dunham has been working with preschool children for six years now and has been with LLP for three years as a floater and Teacher’s Aide. She is the mother of four children ages 16, 19, 22, 24 and has two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys baking, hiking and biking on trails, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Dunham is a classroom aide.
Ashley Thomas’s son attended Little Lambs from 2018-2020 and she is thrilled to join our staff now that he is in school full time. Ashley studied English and Economics at Millersville University. She spent her career working in the financial industry until becoming a mom and starting her own candle company. In the past, she has enjoyed working with Big Brothers Big Sisters and as a preK Sunday School teacher. She lives with her husband, their son and 2 dogs. Her favorite activities are running, reading, traveling, hiking and being at the beach. Mrs. Thomas is a classroom aide.
Samantha Myers is a classroom aide for a Monday, Wednesday, Friday 4-5’s class.
Lisa Fleming has worked at LLP since its inception, when it was just a vision. She has worked with children her entire adult life in one way or another from taking care of babies at her home to mentoring and being a leader of Devonshire Church’s children’s ministry for 20 years. She regularly takes classes to keep up to date on early childhood development and teaching techniques. Mrs. Fleming believes that teaching her students basic foundational skills for academics in a fun and exciting way is important for students to succeed and navigate life as a kindergartner and beyond. Mrs. Fleming has been happily married for almost 35 years. She and her husband have raised 4 children and they are now grandparents to 2 granddaughters. Family is very important to her, but having a relationship with Jesus tops it all. She loves getting to share Jesus with her students at LLP. Mrs. Fleming teaches our Tuesday through Friday 4-5’s class.
Nicolle Fulginiti is a 4/5-year-old aide for Little Lambs Preschool. She joined the Little Lambs staff as a substitute in 2015 and transitioned to her aide position in 2016. Nicolle earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2004 and her Master’s of Education in 2006. Nicolle lives locally with her husband and daughter who previously attended Little Lambs Preschool for 3 years. Mrs. Fulginiti is a classroom aide for our Monday through Friday 4-5’s class.
Jackie Garrison has been a part of Little Lambs since 2013. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Shippensburg University. Jackie has nearly 20 years of experience working with children in various daycares and preschools that ranged in age from infants to school age. Jackie started at Little Lambs as a substitute and office helper, has been an aide in various classrooms and also was a teacher in the 2 and 3 year old classes for a few years. Currently, she is the Communications and Events Manager and a teacher’s aide in the 4-5 year old class with Mrs. Felix. Jackie enjoys going to the beach in Stone Harbor, watching football and visiting with her family in Japan. Jackie currently lives in Hershey with her family. Ms. Garrison is a classroom aide and our Communications and Events Manager.
Kathy Umberger s in her 7th year at Little Lambs as a 4/5- year old aide. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Messiah University in Behavioral Science with a minor in Early Childhood Education. She has 30 years of experience working with children in setting such as preschools, church, homeschooling her own children, and teaching in homeschool co-ops. Kathy lives in Harrisburg with her husband Kory and cat Midnight. She has three grown children. Kathy has a health and wellness business which helps her stay fit. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys scrapbooking and reading. Kathy tremendously enjoys her job at preschool! Mrs. Umberger is a classroom aide for our Tuesday through Friday 4-5’s class.
