Our Director
Jennifer McMurray has been the director of Little Lambs Preschool since its creation in 2010. She earned a Master’s degree in Child Development and Child Care from the School of Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Messiah College. Jennifer has worked with children in a professional capacity for over 25 years. Prior to being the director at LLP, Jennifer taught grades Pre-K to 2nd grade in the public school system for several years. She has also worked as a child therapist, TSS, foster care case manager, nanny and child-care teacher over the span of her career. Jennifer began volunteering as a nursery and preschool worker in her church when she was a teenager herself. She feels incredibly blessed to be a part of Little Lambs Preschool and enjoys the relationships with the students and families as well as watching the children learn and grow each year. Jennifer loves combining all of her background and passions together while working for the Little Lambs Preschool ministry at Devonshire Church. She enjoys photography, scrapbooking, being in nature and spending time with loved ones at the beach. She resides in the Harrisburg area with her husband and 2 adult children. Mrs. McMurray is our Director.
Our Administrative Staff
Jackie Garrison has been a part of Little Lambs since 2013. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Shippensburg University. Jackie has nearly 20 years of experience working with children in various daycares and preschools that ranged in age from infants to school age. Jackie started at Little Lambs as a substitute and office helper, has been an aide in various classrooms and also was a teacher in the 2’s, 3’s and 4 year old classes for a few years. Most recently, she was an aide in the 4-5’s class for the last 5 years. She will now be working fully as the Communications and Events Manager this school year. Jackie enjoys going to the beach in Stone Harbor, watching football and visiting with her family in Japan. Jackie currently lives in Hershey with her family and fur baby kitty, Tigger. Ms. Garrison is our Communications and Events Manager.
Jaimee Zohn started working for LLP in 2013 as a classroom teacher. Mrs. Zohn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education. She worked as a Home Visitor for the Perry County Family Center where she met with families who were pregnant or had children under 5 years old to help them with parent education and child development skills. She then started working for the Capital Area Intermediate Unit (CAIU) as a Preschool Special Education Teacher where she taught children ages 3-5 who had Autism. Mrs. Zohn earned her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education while working at the CAIU. She currently lives in the Harrisburg area with her husband, 2 sons and 2 cats. Mrs. Zohn is our Educational Consultant.
Our Teachers
Betsy Felix joined Little Lambs Preschool in 2017. Betsy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Millersville University in 2000. She taught in Chambersburg and Susquehanna Township. Betsy resides with her husband and four children, in Hershey. She has a Bernese Mountain Dog, Koda, her fur baby! She also enjoys the great outdoors, reading, art projects, and sporting events. Mrs. Felix teaches our Monday/Wednesday/Friday 4-5’s class.
Lisa Fleming has worked at LLP since its inception in 2010, when it was just a vision. She has worked with children her entire adult life in one way or another from taking care of babies at her home to mentoring and being a leader of Devonshire Church’s children’s ministry for 20 years. She regularly takes classes to keep up to date on early childhood development and teaching techniques. Mrs. Fleming believes that teaching her students basic foundational skills for academics in a fun and exciting way is important for students to succeed and navigate life as a kindergartner and beyond. Mrs. Fleming has been happily married for almost 35 years. She and her husband have raised 4 children and they are now grandparents to 4 granddaughters. Family is very important to her, but having a relationship with Jesus tops it all. She loves getting to share Jesus with her students at LLP. Mrs. Fleming teaches our Monday through Friday 4-5’s class.
Terry Frekot has been a part of Little Lambs since 2017. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Philadelphia University. This lead her to a professional career as a Procurement Agent for the Navy for over three years. Her long-time dream was to become a teacher, so she left the Navy and went back to school to focus on earning her teaching credentials in Elementary Education from Moravian University. She has been working and involved with children for almost over 25 years in different capacities from a Kindergarten teacher to a second grade teacher. Her position before coming to Little Lambs was working with children in a preschool setting from 2 years of age to 5 years old for 11 years. She has also worked at Gold’s Gym of Hershey in their Kids’ Gym as a childcare provider for 17 years. Terry lives in Middletown with her husband, Jeff and their dog, Maya. They have a son, Jarod and a beautiful daughter in law, Gabbie. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family. Terry loves being a part of the Little Lambs family! Mrs. Frekot teaches our Monday/Wednesday/Friday 3’s class and our Tuesday/Thursday 3’s class.
Megan Fure was blessed to join Little Lambs in early 2025 and has loved every minute of her time here. She has over 10 years of experience working with children. She is married and has two young boys. She enjoys reading, being in nature and spending time with her family. Mrs. Fure teaches our Tuesday/Thursday 2.7-3’s class and is a teacher’s aide in our Monday/Wednesday/Friday 4-5’s class with Mrs. Sauers.
Megan Noel joined the Little Lambs family in 2021. Her sons attended Little Lambs from 2019-2022 at which point Megan decided to join our staff. She comes to us with a degree in Early Childhood Education from Messiah College and over 20 years experience in the field of education. Megan lives with her husband Bryan and their three sons in the Colonial Park area. Together they enjoy spending as much time as they can outside doing things like camping or going to Hersheypark. Mrs. Noel teaches our Tuesday/Thursday 3.5-4’s class, is a teacher’s aide in our Monday/Wednesday/Friday 4-5’s class with Mrs. Felix, and is our Fundraising Coordinator.
Christy Sauers joined the Little Lambs family in 2024 as a substitute floater and aide and will be taking on a teaching role this school year. She grew up in the Harrisburg area and wanted to be a teacher as long as she could remember. She attended HACC and Penn State Harrisburg earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She taught preschool right after college. She then became a Kindergarten teacher for the Central Dauphin School District for 10 years and earned a Master’s Degree in Literacy. She then decided to stay home to raise her children. Mrs. Sauers lives in Harrisburg with her husband and three kids. Her favorite things are reading, music, art and coffee. She can usually be found at one of her kids shows, sporting events, or playing bass at church. She decided to join the staff at Little Lambs because of how caring and supportive everyone has been with her youngest child who currently attends Little Lambs. Mrs. Sauers teaches our Monday/Wednesday/Friday 4-5’s class.
Noelle Tully was blessed to join the Little Lambs family in 2018. She has worn many hats during her time at LLP, jumping in where needed to be a classroom teacher, teacher’s aide, floater, and office assistant. She loved getting to know all the students and families in all those roles. Noelle graduated from Bloomsburg University with her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 2005. Prior to starting a family, she worked as a preschool teacher. Noelle lives in Lower Paxton Township with her husband and three sons. During her free time, she enjoys spending time at Disney World and Hersheypark with her family, reading, and making crafts. You can often find her on the sidelines cheering on her sons’ as they play sports. Mrs. Tully teaches our Tuesday/Thursday 2-3’s class and our Monday/Wednesday/Friday 3’s class.
Karen Worthington has worked at Little Lambs preschool since 2019. Karen attended Lebanon Valley College and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She previously taught kindergarten for the Middletown School District. Karen is married to Mike and they have two children, Natalie and Lucas. Together they enjoy cheering on the Phillies and Penn State. They also enjoy traveling, especially to the beach. Mrs. Worthington teaches our Tuesday-Friday 4-5’s class.
Our Teacher’s Aides and Floaters
Pam Amsdill joined the Little Lambs staff in 2020. She has her Associate’s Degree and has been working with children in the preschool setting for sixteen years now. Pam lives in Palmyra, near Mt. Gretna and commutes three days a week. She and her husband Steve have been married thirty-five years and have two children. She is a Michigan native, but has lived in Pennsylvania for twenty-seven years. She enjoys crafts, reading books and spending time with her family. Mrs. Amsdill is classroom aide in our Tuesday/Thursday 2-3’s class with Mrs. Noel and a classroom floater.
Malaree Cooper started at Little Lambs in 2024. She has worked as both a floater and teacher’s aide as needed as well as being a part of various projects as a volunteer. She began her career in the medical field and has had several years of experience in child care. A few years ago, she started at Little Lambs as a parent looking for a place that would continue to feed her 2 girls spirits and give them love and guidance. Throughout their journey here, that’s exactly what she found. The staff will forever have their hearts. When not at school, Malaree enjoys traveling, the outdoors, crafting, her passions of dancing/ performing, and her absolute favorite, spending time with her family. Mrs. Cooper is our classroom aide in the Tuesday/Thursday 2.7-3’s class and our Monday/Wednesday/Friday 3’s class with Mrs. Tully.
Christine Dunham has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Stevenson University. She was a Pre-K teacher for three years until she decided to stay at home with her own children. After her kids were grown, she decided to go back into the education field because she enjoys working with children and watching them grow. Mrs. Dunham has been with LLP since 2018 as a floater and Teacher’s Aide. She is the mother of four children and has two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys baking, hiking and biking on trails, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Dunham is our classroom aide in the Monday/Wednesday/Friday 3’s class and Tuesday/Thursday 3’s class with Mrs. Frekot.
Samantha Myers has worked at Little Lambs since 2020. She is a classroom aide for our Tuesday-Friday 4-5’s class with Mrs. Worthington.
Kathy Umberger has been a part of Little Lambs since 2016. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Messiah University in Behavioral Science with a minor in Early Childhood Education. She has 30 years of experience working with children in setting such as preschools, church, homeschooling her own children, and teaching in homeschool co-ops. Kathy lives in Harrisburg with her husband Kory and cat Midnight. She has three grown children. Kathy has a health and wellness business which helps her stay fit. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys scrapbooking and reading. Kathy tremendously enjoys her job at preschool! Mrs. Umberger is our classroom aide for our Monday through Friday 4-5’s class with Mrs. Fleming.
